St. Patrick’s Day & Bank Holiday March 2024 Service Info. On St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday 17 March there will be some changes to Luas services to accommodate the parade. Services on both the Red and Green Lines will run Sunday Operating Hours and there will also be partial closures of the Red and Green Lines to facilitate the parade. Bus Éireann wishes to advise customers that on St. Patrick's Day, Monday 17 March 2025, all services will operate to a Sunday schedule. Parades. Services will be diverted due to local parades taking place around the country. The following Routes will be affected by local parades. Route 2 Wexford/Dublin 17 March. Dublin: The St Patrick's Day long weekend is almost here and soon our capital city will be flooded with people enjoying the festivities. Nitelinks will operate on Friday 14, Saturday 15, Sunday 16 and Over half a million spectators are expected on the streets of Dublin for the National St Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17. Over 4,000 people will take part, including marching bands from all Extra trains will operate on St Patrick’s Day, including trains before and after the Dublin parade, as well as late-night trains on Dart and Dublin commuter routes. Dublin Bus Nitelink services will operate on Friday 14, Saturday 15, Sunday 16, and Monday 17 March, alongside regular 24-hour routes. On St. Patrick’s Day (March 17), a Sunday service will be in operation on all routes. DoDublin’s City Tour will not run. Diversions will be in effect across the city due to parades. There will be a number of diversions to Dublin Bus services on Bray St. Patrick’s Day Parade Diversions 2025 10 March 2025 We wish to advise customers that due to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Bray, Routes E1, L12 and L14 will be diverted from approx. 13.00hrs to 15.00hrs on Monday 17 March 2025. To facilitate access to and from Dublin City Centre, Dublin Bus will have several temporary bus termini in place between first bus and approximately 5pm on St. Patrick’s Day. Wood Quay (pick up) Routes 26, 37, 39, 39a, 52, 60, 70, C1, C2, C3, C4, G1 and G2. We wish to advise customers that due to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Celbridge on Monday 17 March 2025 from approx. 15.30hrs to 18.00hrs, the following diversions will be in place; Route C4 Towards Maynooth Normal route to Dublin Road, divert via Youngs Cross, Celbridge Road, Station Road, N4 Flyover, Salesian College and back on to normal A Sunday service will operate on all routes on St. Patrick's Day and DoDublin's City Tour will not operate.
